Our mission

She's Speaking exists to create forums/spaces where women's voices and artistry can be heard by all people through live music events, our YouTube channel featuring women artists, our livestream concerts and more.

We recognize that women are unrepresented across all aspects of the music industry and that women’s voices and stories need to be heard. We aim to educate ourselves and others about gender inequality in the music industry. Here are some interesting studies, recent articles, and links about women in the music industry. SIREN NATION - Siren Nation is a nonprofit based in Portland, Oregon, dedicated to amplifying the voices of women in the arts. Siren Nation promotes the original work of diverse women artists by creating year-round performance, exhibition, and educational opportunities.
